Peniel Church filled 500 helium balloons and attached invites for an ice cream social and short gospel service and handed them out to people on Sandy Lane in Norwich, on behalf of one of the residents there. We praise God for the decisions to follow Jesus Christ at the service the next day!
Peniel Church will be one of several sites across the city to host Norwich Public Schools’ free lunch program for children ages 18 and under. Peniel Church joined the Greeneville Neighborhood Revitalization Zone Committee to form Team Greeneville in the 2014 dragon boat race. The race was sponsored by the Greater Area Norwich Chamber of Commerce and held at the Norwich Marina on May 31. Sixteen teams participated. We didn’t finish first.
